Elrick Primary

Hi Everyone,
I am writing this from Elrick Primary School in Elrick,Aberdeenshire.My cousin Jill teaches here so we are visiting a yr 2-3 class.

Thanks for sending in the photos Mr Hornby-they were really interested in the swimming pool.

It is Friday here and is the last day of school with them so they were doing a "concert" sort of thingy.I will attach sdome clips of that when I finish writing.
Has anyoneheard of a smartboard?They are a white board with a USB socket and speakers that you plug into a projector.Every class here has omne-it is really cool.

Also here the classes are "open-plan" so each class is just marked out of a big room with a bookshelf or something.

We were pushed for time so I didnt get to do everything I wanted to but it was cool visiting another cschool anyway.
Another thing I found interesting was the times-each class starts at 9 am but the seniors end 20 pt 3 and the juniors end 2:45.
